Leah is a UKSCA accredited strength & conditioning coach and sports rehabilitator with a first class BSc and MSc in Sports Science from Loughborough University and an MSc in Sports Injury Rehabilitation from Middlesex University.
Her work has taken me from the Welsh Institute of Sport, to Premiership Rugby with Saracens RFC, from Sports Rehabilitation at Pure Sports Medicine to Strength and Conditioning coach at the English Institute of Sport and the Team GB BOA Intensive Rehab Unit. During this time Leah has supported numerous teams (listed below) and athletes to Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth & World Championship medals, including Gold for the GB women’s hockey team at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Leah currently works with some of the world’s best athletes including 200m World champion Dina Asher-Smith and 100m European silver medalist Reece Prescod as they prepare for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
As an athlete, Leah played football at an international level and though she has hung up her boots she is still fascinated by bodies and how they function and perform! When not coaching you can often find her swimming through lakes, cycling up mountains, climbing up multi-coloured walls, drinking posh coffee and occasionally surfing Welsh waves.
